Island Heights Construction Ltd. is seeking a meticulous and skilled Project Estimator to join our team. As our Project Estimator, you will be pivotal in the planning and execution of these diverse projects, ensuring precision and efficiency from concept to completion.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, etc, or extensive experience. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Project Estimator in the construction industry. Journeyman carpenter ticket or experience an asset.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes. Proficiency in various estimating software and tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills to deliver accurate project estimates.
  • Communication: Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines.
  • Work Environment: Involvement in a range of projects including residential and commercial, encompassing renovations, new constructions, maintenance, and repairs.

Job Details:

  • Type: Full-Time Position.
  • Schedule: Regular 8-hour shifts.
  • Supplemental Pay: Opportunities for bonuses
  • Experience: At least 3 years in a Project Estimator role (preferred).

Work Location:

  • On-site.
